Save A Life EMS INC offers American Heart Association (AHA) certified courses in New York City for individuals, healthcare professionals, and organizations. Each course pairs hands-on skills practice with the current AHA curriculum, so students across the five boroughs leave able to act in a real cardiac or medical emergency.
All Students Must Have the Current AHA Book for Their Course.
If you purchased an AHA book elsewhere, email a receipt before class. Only AHA-approved books are accepted including the AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS provider manuals.

Courses We Offer
CPR Certification
CPR certification teaches lifesaving chest compressions, rescue breaths, and AED use to healthcare workers, educators, workplace safety officers, parents, and caregivers.
- Proper CPR technique for adults, children, and infants
- Hands-on practice with an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Choking relief and emergency response
- Certification: AHA card valid for 2 years
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
ACLS certification prepares physicians, nurses, paramedics, and emergency responders to manage cardiac arrest, stroke, and other life-threatening emergencies.
- Management of cardiac arrest, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes
- Advanced airway management and ECG interpretation
- Certification: AHA card valid for 2 years
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
PALS certification trains pediatricians, nurses, paramedics, and healthcare workers to assess and treat critically ill infants and children.
- Assessment and management of pediatric emergencies
- Effective pediatric resuscitation and team dynamics
- Certification: AHA card valid for 2 years
AED Management Training
AED management training teaches businesses, schools, gyms, and organizations to deploy and maintain an Automated External Defibrillator and build a compliant response plan.
- Correct use and routine maintenance of an AED
- AED placement, state compliance, and emergency response planning
- Certification: AHA card valid for 2 years
Blended Learning Available!
Can’t attend a full in-person class? Blended learning lets you finish the AHA online module at your own pace, then complete a short hands-on skills session with a certified instructor in NYC.
Blended learning delivers the same AHA certification as a traditional in-person course.
